Bata de Cola – Custom-Made Flamenco Skirts with Train
The Bata de Cola is one of the most expressive elements of traditional flamenco. This distinctive flamenco skirt with a long train is used in certain flamenco dances and choreographies and requires a special dancing technique. Through controlled movements to lift, guide and move the train, it becomes an essential part of the performance.

Cola de Ensayo – Flamenco training skirt with train
Our Cola de Ensayo is a lighter version of the traditional Bata de Cola, particularly suitable for flamenco classes, workshops and regular practice of bata de cola techniques.
Made from a polyester and cotton blend, this training skirt features several ruffles at the front and along the train.
This model allows dancers to learn and improve the characteristic movements involved in dancing with a Bata de Cola.
Double-layer Bata de Cola – Elaborate design with extra volume
For dancers who prefer a heavier and more elaborate design, we offer a double-layer Bata de Cola.
This model combines an inner layer of Tergal with an outer layer of Koshivo. Additional ruffles and a stiff, gathered can-can ruffle provide extra volume and structure to the train.
The double-layer construction gives the skirt greater weight, clearly distinguishing it from the lighter training version.
Custom-made to your measurements and colour preferences
All our Bata de Cola flamenco skirts are individually made to your measurements and preferred colours.
You can choose both the skirt colour and the colour of the bias binding used to finish the ruffles. This allows you to create subtle tone-on-tone combinations or striking colour contrasts.
Special customisations, such as a different number of ruffles or additional inner ruffles, are also available upon request.
